Darren Schreiber
Darren Schreiber is CEO and co-founder of 2600hz, providers of a telecom platform that enables all aspects of telephony ranging from SIP trunking to PBXs and lightweight application APIs. He brings over 17 years of experience developing multiple enterprise SaaS infrastructures, open source telephony systems and large scale IT services.
Prior to starting 2600hz, he served as lead architect and developer at Bandwidth.com where he contributed to their infrastructure design and their Phonebooth platform. He then founded 2600hz and developed blue.box, a widely used front-end GUI to FreeSWITCH. He also leads official trainings for FreeSWITCH, and has co-authored articles and books including FreeSWITCH 1.0.6 and FreeSWITCH Cookbook.
Darren lectures at major universities on VoIP technology and leads VoIP trainings worldwide. He holds a degree in Computer Science and Business Entrepreneurship from Rensselaer Polytechnic. When not picking telephony apart, he can most likely be found at a Phish concert.
