Chris Matthieu is the founder of GroupRoom (https://grouproom.io), a radically new spatially-aware video communications and collaboration platform. Prior to founding GroupRoom, Chris founded Computes Inc, a decentralized supercomputing platform company, which was acquired by MagicLeap in 2018. While at MagicLeap, Chris was the CTO of their think tank, Imagination Propulsion Laboratories, and ultimately led the Magicverse, MagicLeap’s real world metaverse platform, product team. Prior to founding Computes Inc, Chris founded Octoblu, an enterprise IoT platform company, which was acquired by Citrix as well as Nodester (AppFog), Teleku (Voxeo/Tropo), and Digital Voice Technologies (Ideas & Associates).
