Abbi Minessale has been around FreeSWITCH ever since her father created it in 2006. She has helped out at many ClueCons doing interviews and has taken on a more prominent role this year as the Head of Social Networking and as an author on the new FreeSWITCH Blog. Abbi will be running and judging FreeCYCLED Hacks. She is excited about this new Coder Games event because it combines technical skills with creative building for a fun challenge suited for any skill level.

Evan is an experienced entrepreneur and realtime communications expert, having worked for over a decade in executive technical, business, and consulting capacities. Before SignalWire, in 2017 he co-founded Felix to bring machine learning and a simplified experience to small business voice and text communications. Prior to that, he helped grow RingPlus to a nationwide wireless MVNO with 120k subscribers, including in-house development of OSS/BSS systems and industry first products like in-call voice translation. Evan has published patents covering both hardware & software design and is a presenter at realtime/IoT conferences covering a wide range of topics, including scalable SaaS deployments, best business practices, and the utilization of machine learning in a realtime settings.

Bio:

James is well known a source of new, disruptive and innovative thinking is the telecomms space. Luckily, he managed to put these and a number of other disruptive skills to good use as a Regular officer in the British Army. Following 20 years service in the British Army, where he graduated with degrees in Electronic Engineering and Design of Information Systems, he became involved in the pioneering of UK based VoIP, setting up SIPCall and Gossiptel, leading UK SIP<>PSTN services. A founding member of the UK Internet Telephony Providers Association, he has consistently been involved with getting things done at the cutting edge of the European VoIP community. An enthusiastic supporter of Open Source software, he sponsors the development and rapid deployment of some of the leading telecommunications applications.

Joshua Young is a Journeyman in Telecommunications. Joshua has been tinkering with phones since childhood. Had a professional start in telecom right out of high school. Joined the Marine Corps as a switchboard programmer. Completed a telecom apprenticeship there after. From climbing poles, to burying cable, from Customer Premise to Central Office, from hardware installation to software provisioning, he has worked a vast array of telecom facets. Continuing in the industry he is the latest addition to FreeSWITCH team, with a primary role in Customer Technical Support.

Bryan is an experience engineer and software developer, having 20+ years in the industry across a wide range of fields. Shane Bryldt is a seasoned software developer of over 20 years, and is a newcomer to the Telecommunication industry. Shane has taken his experience with programming in many different directions working on a variety of commercial and open source projects including distributed network services, compilers, and operating system drivers and kernels to cover some of the spectrum. With additional experience ranging through CAD, CNC, hardware and electronics engineering, and a presence in the maker community, Shane is a jack of many trades. He joined the FreeSWITCH team in late 2016, where he has been working on engineering and development of new software products.

Madison Ream a new member of the FreeSWITCH team and ready to bring fresh ideas to the table. She is a recent graduate of Ball State University where she obtained her Bachelors of Science in Sociology along with a minor in Theatrical Studies. Some of her hobbies include singing and watching YouTube videos of dogs howling. You will get extra points from this judge if you show her pictures of your animals.
