Getting Started With Kamailio

If you’re a first timer using Kamailio or even pretty familiar with it, this session can help you to make the first steps of deploying a SIP proxy in the proper way. Daniel, the lead developer and co-founder of Kamailio presents where you can look for resources to start using Kamailio, the main characteristics of its internal architecture and the foundation of it SIP routing scripting language. A part of the training focuses on how Kamailio can be used with FreeSwitch to enrich your telephony system to meet better various requirements, from vertical to horizontal scalability, security or even building new features. Short demos may be shown to give a better feeling of what Kamailio can do.

About the instructor: Dan Christian Bogos
Dan is the founder of ITsysCOM, experienced communications architect and VoIP specialist. Dan is a double graduate of Politechnica University, Timisoara, with post-graduate specialization in Communication Protocols and Software Development. For the past couple of years, he has focused mainly on Cloud Computing Technologies interoperability, subject of his PhD thesis research. A frequent and well-known contributor to the Open Source community, most noticeably being the co-founder of CGRateS Project, Dan is a firm believer in merging the very best production-ready software to create high-quality, scalable and cost-effective communications solutions.
