When are submissions due?
Each year, presentation submissions are due in mid-May.
When will I hear back to know if I have been accepted?
We begin contacting accepted presenters the first week of June.
What kind of talks are best for ClueCon?
The best talks show how you solved a problem, whether its centered around AI, VoIP, IoT or WebRTC.
How long should my talk last?
You should plan for a 20-25 minute presentation with 5 minutes for Q&A from the audience.
Do you require my speaking notes prior to the event?
It is not required, but if you can share beforehand, we appreciate it.
What is the audience size?
We anticipate around 150 - 200 attendees each year.
What is covered as a speaker?
Selected speakers recieve a free registration to the conference, including all networking events, and hackathon.
Are hotel and travel expenses covered?
No, you are responsible for your own hotel accommodations and travel.
Is it an open stage or a lectern setup?
We have a podium you can stand behind, but you will be on a wireless mic allowing movement around the stage. There will be a large screen on each side of the stage which will project your presentation.
What is the audience demographic?
We see a wide variety of attendees including job titles C-Suite, Engineers, Developers, System Architects, and Consultants. The organizations range from open source to corporate.
What is the tech setup for my presentation?
Any presentations are run from your laptop, which will be connected to our system. We will schedule a tech check with you to test your equipment before the presentation.
