James Body

James Body is a seasoned telecommunications executive and the CEO of Telet Research, one of the few companies to have successfully deployed 5G Standalone (SA) Radio Access Networks commercially. With deep expertise in core network infrastructure, James has led Telet’s strategic focus on deploying advanced mobile communications networks using small cell technology, significantly reducing both cost and deployment time compared to traditional large operators. Under James's leadership, Telet Research has become a Full Operator Member of the GSMA and a recognized provider of public Neutral Host services, leveraging innovative licensing approaches such as Local Access Licensing (LAL) and Shared Access Licensing (SAL) to expand access to mobile spectrum. A strong advocate for open standards and open-source development, James champions the use of Open RAN and modular network components to promote flexibility and scalability while minimizing capital expenditure. His work continues to push the boundaries of mobile infrastructure, combining technical rigor with a vision for accessible, future-ready connectivity.
