AI Workshops

All workshops are included in your conference registration and are hosted on Monday during the Coder Games.

Monday, Aug. 4th
9:30-10:15pm

Learn how to build voice AI agents directly within a real-time telecom environment. This hands-on workshop, led by Brian West, introduces the SignalWire Agents SDK and teaches you how to create programmable AI agents using Python. You will work with embedded media control, design dynamic prompts, and integrate external APIs, all running inside SignalWire's ultra-low-latency telecom stack with response times under 500 milliseconds.

Monday, Aug. 4th
11:00-11:30am

This workshop, led by Senior Escalation Engineer Shane Harell, shows you how to build voice agents that can handle PCI-sensitive tasks like payment collection while keeping credit card data completely isolated from the AI model. Using Python and SignalWire’s AI SDK, you’ll see how real-time control and embedded tools make secure, intelligent payment agents possible.

Monday, Aug. 4th
12:40-1:00pm

Join Len Graham, FreeSWITCH Enterprise Support Lead, as he demonstrates how AI agents can bridge software and hardware. In this hands-on session, you’ll use SignalWire’s Agent SDK to collect user input over the phone, process it with AI, and trigger physical events on an Arduino like toggling LEDs, motors, or sensors.

1:45-2:45pm

Watch Brian West take on the ultimate live coding challenge! In this Coder Games event, attendees suggest wild, useful, or downright absurd ideas for AI bots and voice-powered functions. Brian has to build them live and on the spot using the SignalWire Agents SDK. Will it work? Will it crash? You’ll just have to be there.
